Watch the Myers Family Vlog

Hey everyone, it’s the Myers Family and we recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sutton Park B&B in Blackpool. We had such a great time and we thought we would share our experience with you to help you decide if this is the right accommodation for your next trip to Blackpool.

When we first arrived, we were immediately impressed by the outdoor area of the hotel. It’s such a lovely space with little plant pots and lights, perfect for sitting outside on a warm evening. We were greeted by the lovely owners, Gill & Stewart, who showed us around the dining room. It’s a beautiful space and we particularly liked that there was a front dining room for guests with dogs or those who prefer an adults-only atmosphere.

One thing we found particularly helpful was that the hotel accepts well-behaved dogs, something that can be quite difficult to find when traveling with pets. And for those with special dietary requirements, we were pleased to discover that they offer gluten-free food options.

Gill & Stewart then took us on a tour of the hotel, starting with the twin room which we found to be very cozy. It came equipped with a fridge, fan, ironing board, and hair dryer, as well as tea and coffee making facilities with a full complimentary tray including wagon wheels. The ensuite bathroom was nice and clean with a shower.

Next, we were shown one of the standard family rooms which had bunk beds for the kids and a lovely sunroom. The heavy-duty bunk beds are rated for people weighing up to 26 stone, making them suitable for adults as well. The shower room was quite spacious and had some seating, which we thought was a nice touch.

We then visited the Superior King room which had a side sea view and a large wardrobe. The bathroom was well stocked with toiletries, including conditioner and shampoos. But the highlight of this room was the beautiful view of the sea from the bay window.

Finally, we were shown the Superior family room which had a thick quilt, a bit of a sea view through the bay window, and four-foot wide bunk beds, suitable for two children per bunk if age and gender-appropriate. It also had a separate room for the kids and a microwave, making it a perfect option for families with young children.

Throughout our stay, we found the rooms to be comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We also appreciated that some of the rooms had Smart TVs with Netflix accounts available. And if you’re in need of charging your devices, there were plenty of USB and plug points available.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Sutton Park B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Blackpool.
