Parking Information

At The Sutton Park bed and breakfast, there are two secure car parking spaces available for guests. One space is suitable for a large car, and the other for a small car. These spaces are behind locked gates and can be booked in advance or on a first come, first served basis for a cost of £10 per night. Please let the staff know the size of your car in advance as large vans cannot be accommodated.

Parking can be challenging in Blackpool, but there are some options available for guests. The roads around Woodfield Road, with the exception of the Promenade, are free if you can find a space. Blue Badge drivers can park for up to three hours on double yellow lines as long as they don’t obstruct traffic. Parking on the Promenade is time-limited, so guests may need to move their cars periodically.

If guests need to drop off their bags, they can stop outside on the double yellow lines. However, please note that traffic wardens are strict in Blackpool and will ticket any car without a valid pay and display ticket. If a parking machine is not working, guests can pay by phone and get a reference number to avoid getting a ticket.

The nearest pre-pay car park to The Sutton Park is on Crystal Road, which is a couple of hundred yards away from the bed and breakfast. The current charges are £9 for 24 hours, £12 for two days, £18 for three days, and £25 for five days, but these are subject to change. Please note that the machines at Crystal Road and St Cuthbert Church car parks do not take cards, so guests will need coins or may be able to pay by phone.

If the Crystal Road car park is full, guests can turn right back onto Crystal Road, go to the end of the road, turn right onto Lytham Road, and find the St Church Car Park on the right-hand side. However, guests should be aware that if they check out on a Sunday morning while the church is in use, they may get blocked in while the morning service is on.

For more car park details, please refer to the end of the email or contact The Sutton Park directly for assistance.
